Advanced Health Care Directives

Advanced Health Care Directives are often referred to as Living Wills.

A Living Will allows an individual to specify certain decisions in the event that they cannot effectively communicate their wishes regarding the treatment they receive by a medical professional.

Durable Powers of Attorney

A Durable Power of Attorney allows an individual to name an attorney-in-fact to make decisions on their behalf even if they become mentally incapacitated.

The attorney-in-fact’s authority is limited to the scope of the authority granted to him or her in the Durable Power of Attorney.

Wills and Revocable or Irrevocable Trusts

A Will is a useful tool in planning for your future. Your Will can dictate who you leave your personal property and real property to, who the executor of your estate will be, how your funeral arrangements will be carried out, and many other important decisions.

It is very important for every individual to create a Will to designate the disposition of their assets in the event of one’s death.
